Born on 4th April 1994, it took Bambo up to 2011 for him to finally realize he could make a change in the Tanzania fashion industry. He started by successfully interviewing for an internship job at Naledi Fashion house. This Job gave him an opportunity to work under a well established designer, Miss Kemi Kalikawe. So as to learn the insides of designing. He acquired experience in Fashion entrepreneur-ship in the numerous work shops he set up with her; back stage experience during Swahili Fashion week, The Vintage Cat walk Fashion show2012 and other smaller events; another experience that Bambo finds most vital is work shop duties, cause that's when he inhaled the real sense of Designing.
Just before Bambo left the labor life for school, he
landed a showcase opportunity on Naledi Fashion House's very own show,
The vintage Cat walk Fashion show on 3rd March 2012. On this show, he
show cased his 2nd collection ever made, THE BEAUTIFUL BEGINNINGS
COLLECTION. This was a collection beautiful high wasted skirts!!!
There after Bambo worked on an exclusive SUMMER COLLECTION2012. That was special for a few people around him that had bought the pieces even before they were maid!!! This was a full pink and blue Collection of hot pants and Clothes for +size women..
Afterwards Bambo Landed signed up to showcase on Dar Fashion Festival(DFF)2012. On the night of 19th August our upcoming designer show cased his BLACK BEAUTY COLLECTION. Colored brown and Black, it was an eye catching hip and urban collection. This is when Bambo started to seriously gain people's attention.
Bambo's 3rd show case so far was the Tanza Fashion Gala(TFG) at Mbalamwezi Beach club on the 22nd of September. Where he showcase THE B' KISS COLLECTION. A pink and Black collection for people with boiling bloods.
Out of the Run way, Bambo is taking Human Resource Management at Eckernforde Tanga university. He is a very friendly, dedicated, calculative Ngoni. So rest assured that what you've seen from him is just a platform for bigger and better.
